World BREAST FEEDING WEEK CELEBRATION

 Celebrating the “World BreastFeeding Week,” a momentous event was held on 1st Aug’2023 at Senthuraja Hall, where JKKN College of Allied Health Science & Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research joined hands with Lotus Hospital to promote the importance of breastfeeding for maternal and child health.
The function commenced with an auspicious felicitation of the esteemed Dr. N. Saravanan, MBBS, MD, Consultant-Neonatologist, and Dr. Dhivya Sharona, MBBS, MS(OG), acknowledging their remarkable contributions to the field of healthcare.
Graced by the presence of Dr. Elanchezhiyan S, Principal, JKKNAHS, and Mrs. Jamunarani, M.Sc, Ph.D., Principal, SSINAR, Kumarapalayam, the occasion radiated a spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The event kicked off with captivating mimes performed by AHS students, setting the tone for an engaging and enlightening session. The excitement continued with a delightful Puppet show, masterfully presented by the talented girls of SSINAR, leaving the audience enthralled.
The celebration witnessed an enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, including Pharmacy, Dental, AHS, Arts & Science, and Engineering, all eager to learn and contribute to the cause.
Together, we emphasized the significance of breastfeeding in nurturing a healthier future for mothers and their little ones.
