B.Sc Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (OT & Anaesthesia Tech) at JKKN College is a 4-year program (3 + 1) training students to function as Operation Theatre Technologists and Anaesthesia Technicians. The course covers OT setup and sterilisation, surgical instrument identification and handling, anaesthesia machine operation, patient monitoring (ECG, BP, SpO2, EtCO2, ABG), airway management, drug administration, peri-operative care, and CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) operations. Affiliated to TN Dr. MGR Medical University. Internship rotations cover General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, OB-GYN, Paediatric Surgery, and Day-Care OTs.
